Class Descriptions

Levels Legend

Yoga Levels

1 Beginner - lots of alignment cues for positioning, perfect those of you new to the activity

2 Intermediate - those of you that have been practicing for a bit and are ready to try new shapes

3 Advanced - You have been attending class for a while and feel comfortable with the practice

Sweat Levels

0 No perspiration, little to no movement

1 Little to no sweat, create a bit of heat in the body

2 It is likely you will perspire, you will be moving quite a bit

3 High chance of salt in your eyes

RISE N SHINE

Yoga Level 1-2

Sweat Level 1-2

Slow and gentle movement to get your day started. Morning yoga sets your day up for success, boost your energy levels, kickstart metabolism, increase blood flow and clears your mind.

GENTLE FLOW

Yoga Level 1

Sweat Level 0-1

A great class for those of you craving a good stretch. There will be lots of time for alignment cues, adjustments and time for you to really sink into each pose, making this class great for beginners.

CURATED CALM

Yoga Level 1-2

Sweat Level 2

This class is a Hatha practice to jumpstart your week. Hatha is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. In this practice, you can expect to stay in a constant flow of movements. Skye will lead you through breathwork and end the class will a essential oil brow massage. 

YIN AND MEDITATION

Yoga Level 1

Sweat Level 0

The class will begin in a meditation, the opportunity to find stillness, find your breath and the chance to work inwards. Then moving into the Yin portion, yin yoga is floor based postures held for 3+ minutes. These longs holds prevent bone degeneration, hydrate the joints, prevent contracture of ligaments and reduce fixation of joints.

ASHTANGA MASH-UP

Sweat Level 2

Ashtanga is an ancient practice where a lot of our vinyasa practices stem from. It is easy to modify this practice for beginners to advanced. It includes sun salutations, standing work, seated work, backbends and inversions. It's got it all and it is a personal favourite of Alexis'. 

FLOW INTO NIDRA 2.0 

Yoga Level 2-3

Sweat Level 2-3

This class will begin with approximately 55 minutes of faster paced mixed level vinyasa to create warmth in the body. Then we will slow things all the way down into a yogic sleep for about 15 minutes. Yoga Nidra is an opportunity to live in a relaxed awareness, with the goal of creating a deeper understanding of your inner world.

YIN YANG

Yoga Level 1-2

Sweat Level 1-2

We start off with dynamic (yang) movement around our mat to create heat in the body and then we will slow things down and head low on the mat. The yin portion of class will be floor-based long hold (2+ minutes) forms.
